I met Guy one evening in the fall of 1985 while on a business trip. I arrived at the Rosery in a bad mood. Guy was a splendid host who knew how to make people feel welcome. It was a privilege to have met this man and chatted with him. He left such a favorable impression on me that I have always remembered him and thought of him from time to time over the years. The evenings I spent at the rosery provided some of my favorite memories of my visits to England. Had I lived in the NewMarket area, I know that Guy and I would have been best friends for life. Guy was a shining example of why I always say that the Englich people are the nicest people in the world. My belated condolences to the family and friends of this wonderful man.

Guy was a true gentleman whom touched the hearts of many - young & old.
It was a true pleasure to have met him and worked alongside him at Newmarket Rugby Club.
Rest in peace

My thoughts are with you all at this sad time, I know Christmas will never be the same again for so many children (and adults!) and generations to come. You will be missed by many 🎅🏻💙
